Hemphill & Son Trucking hauls general commodities with 53-foot vans through the Southeast and Midwest. They have 21 trucks and 80 trailers which are used to provide companies in the Toccoa and Stephens County area with reliable dry freight service. Hemphill & Son has 18 employees.

Important moments:
1972    Roger and Sara Hemphill go into the grocery store business and join the Chamber of Commerce.

1984    Hemphill & Son Trucking is established with four trucks.

1987    The Hemphills travel to Atlanta along with two local businesses supporting their request for authority. Due to the need for trucking companies in the area, their request is granted and they gain authority.

1985    As the company grows, they purchase a terminal in the Meadowbrook Industrial Park.
