Companies Announce Investments in Stephens
The Toccoa-Stephens County area is experiencing a new surge of
growth in the manufacturing sector. GEM Industries'
(see article from WNEG Radio-AM630-Toccoa, Ga) parent
company, ITR, is opening a facility in the area. GEM has
been an established corporate citizen of Toccoa-Stephens
County for several years, and this is their second expansion
in the area within the last couple of years. On the
heels of this great news, three other companies announced
their investment in the area. They are as follows:
Scrap Masters
(more....article from WNEG Radio AM630), Axis Products
(more....article from WNEG Radio AM630), and Concept
Plastics
(more...article from WNEG Radio AM630) All of this
good news has created quite a "buzz" about Toccoa-Stephens
County, and this area is poised for tremendous growth in the
next few years. Among the many benefits associated with
the opening of these industries is the affect it is having on
the unemployment rate
(see article from WNEG Radio AM630). The local
Development Authority has seen an increase in the number of
inquiries from private investors, state project managers, real
estate agents, and Atlantans who want to know what is going on
in the area. If you or your company are considering
investment in Toccoa-Stephens County, contact our office for

We're looking forward to great things in this beautiful corner
of Northeast Georgia!
