Toccoa Symphony Orchestra. This orchestra of 50-60 musicians performs three concerts per year in December, March, and May. Each concert features regional guest instrumentalists and vocal soloists.

Tugaloo Corridor Project
Currently underway via the Stephens County Foundation, the Tugaloo Corridor Project is the restoration and preservation of the historic heritage of the Tugaloo River on Yonah Dam Road. Reclamation of the Estatoe Indian Village, which was located on the site, will be complete with trails, an education center, amphitheater and marina.

There are three basic purposes of the Stephens County Foundation for the Tugaloo Corridor

  • Preservation: To protect and preserve the historic and natural resources of the Tugaloo Corridor.
  • Education: To provide educational opportunities for students and the general public.
  • Recreation: To promote recreational opportunities appropriate for the area through environmentally responsible use of the Corridor.

The SCDA is responsible for the recruitment of new businesses including industrial, manufacturing, distribution, corporate and regional headquarters and customer service centers. It also provides support and assistance with all other types of economic development projects.

The SCDA also works with existing businesses and industries to ensure their continued success.
